Winter 2017-2018 College Training Space Almost Filled at BBMAC

November 1, 2017

The more the secret of how phenomenal the island of Coronado and the BBMAC Aquatics Center is for hosting college training camps gets out, the faster our schedule fills up. In fact, we’re almost booked out for the 2017-2018 winter training camp season.

What can we say; the allure of the endless sunshine, stunning Pacific Ocean, and lack of humidity keeps teams wanting to come back here year after year. Turns out our Olympic-grade facility passes the test of training elite athletes as well. While we were the best-kept secret for years, it’s safe to say the secret is out.

If you’ve been contemplating bringing your team to paradise to train during their winter break, you need to call us today to see if we still have room.

Current Availability

We’re not going to sugarcoat things. Current availability is fairly tight. Considering that many teams book the year prior, it’s easy to imagine how fast certain slots go.

We currently have some availability during these two date ranges:

  • 12/26/17 - 1/4/18
  • 1/10/18 - 1/15/18

Availability varies by team size and number of lanes needed. *Availability is subject to change as more bookings come in. Contact us immediately to secure your team’s spot. This includes working with our hotel partners to reserve blocks of rooms for your swimmers.

The lanes fill up more as we move into late January and February. That’s often when we see professional teams book their destination training camps since they don’t have the constraints of school schedules to navigate.

Book now for 2018-2019 Dates

The best way to secure your training camp dates is to book early. We have been working with college teams to look ahead to next year to align their training camp dates with the school schedule as they get posted.

If you know your dates for next winter, reserve them today. Even if the dates aren’t posted yet, feel free to contact us to help you look at pricing packages. This way you’ll be in the position to pull the trigger fast once those dates get published.
